There has been an increase in cars being stolen , a reminder for vehicle owners to be vigilant. 

Thieves will target high performance and desirable vehicles, entering properties to locate keys, or using technology to open keyless vehicles by re-routing the signal from the key inside the property.

Make it harder for thieves. Take extra precautions, use a steering wheel lock, use a faraday pouch for your keys including your spare key, remove valuable belongings. Consider installing an aftermarket immobiliser, tracker or AirTag. It could be the difference between your vehicle being targeted or not.

Perpetrators of this type of acquisitive crime often target specific vehicles, based on demand and value. The most common method is to drive around residential areas looking for opportunities with certain types of vehicle.
